TrophyCast is a static forecast site. There are no accounts, logins, profiles, or server-side user records.
Local preferences
The browser stores only local interface preferences: the selected light/dark theme and whether the introductory hint has been dismissed. Those values stay on the device and can be removed by clearing site data.
Scenario URLs
Team tracking and what-if conditions are encoded in the URL so a forecast state can be shared. Those links contain tournament state only: selected team ids, bracket picks, or group match-result picks.
Static data
The forecast loads public static assets from static/data and flags from static/flags. The same forecast files are served to every visitor; no personal
forecast is generated.
External share targets
The share menu can open email or social-share URLs. Those destinations are separate services with their own policies. Copying a link only places the current scenario URL on the browser clipboard.
Analytics
TrophyCast does not require analytics. If hosting later adds aggregate analytics or edge logging, that should stay separate from the forecast state and should not introduce accounts, tracking cookies, or personal scenario storage.
